Yes, there’s a live recording of Volcano, the one he did on Idol. But I didn’t put a link up, because not many people downloaded live versions as oppose to studio versions.

He probably didn’t even think he was going to get this far, actually. Of course theres some amount of competitive drive in the top 5, but I think if he did actually win, he’d wish he didn’t.
I completely agree with you. Only a few of the actual American Idol winners have been successful. I want good things for Phillip, and the only way I think he can achieve that is if he doesn't win. That way, he could write his own songs and just keep being true to himself. I'm a massive fan of his, and saying that I don't want him to win doesn't lessen that.

Omg. Obviously I am. I wouldn’t have this blog if I wasn’t a “true” fan. I have reasons for not wanting him to win. Think about it. When an American Idol is chosen, the people from the record company pretty much go frantic and try to release their album as quickly as possible. Even if that means putting out shitty pop songs that Phil didn’t even write. I’d rather him take his time, write his own music, and put on an album he’s happy with. Take Adam Lambert for example. He’s more famous and mainstream than Kris Allen, even though Kris won. I guarantee you, they wouldn’t have let Adam put the kind of songs he writes on an album. (Mostly about gay stuff, lol.) It gives them more artistic freedom if they don’t win. And of course he’s going to get a record deal, he’ll probably get a hundred different offers.
Now do you have a REAL argument as to why I’m not a real Phillip fan?
philip is def my favv on the show. i mean hes gorgeous and amazing and so original, but i really want him to win 2nd or 3rd cause i feel like i want him to do something on his own... without the record deal. am i dumb?

I agree! Once i heard ryan say that Phillip has a girlfriend i immediatly thought that wasn't going to be good for Phillip! Ryan probably just threw that out there that he had a girlfriend because last week Ryan's girlfriend said "yummy" to phillip! You know?
